No. A cellular booster works with supported mobile-network signals. Wi-Fi connects devices to a local network. Wi-Fi calling is a separate feature that depends on your phone, carrier and Wi-Fi connection.
Can a booster work without any outdoor signal?
An off-air booster needs a usable donor signal from a mobile network. It cannot create a carrier signal where none is available. Signal quality and strength at a suitable antenna location affect feasibility.
Will one system work with every carrier and 5G band?
Not necessarily. Compatibility depends on the equipment, supported frequency bands and local carrier networks. These need to be checked for the specific building and users.
